Left just after the Lunar New Year, I have not been in Hong Kong, Min of the same because I left Canada and the United States to the stage. I know that the New Year in Hong Kong this year of the freeze咁years in particular, However, the United States and Canada in addition to freezing, SIN-good snow, in the past 40 years - the biggest snow? This really makes me unforgettable New Year!

Raymond Lam Signs with EEG Music Group
Caption: Raymond Lam Fung was heavily favored by EEG Music Group. Nicholas Tse and Joey Yung put much thought into their outfits for the event.
Numerous celebrities such as Nicholas Tse, Joey Yung, Raymond Lam, Isabella Leung, Yumiko Cheng, Kenny Kwan etc. appeared at EEG Music Group's concert, 「煙花群星大匯演」.
Recently signing with EEG, Raymond Lam was loved dearly by boss, Yeung Sau Sing. During the show's performance with Kenny Kwan and Hung Cheuk Lap, Raymond took the center position.
"Many thanks to EEG for giving me this opportunity! We were very nervous before the performance and practiced beforehand to avoid mistakes. I did not keep track of our positions. Perhaps I was familiar with the song and my Mandarin is fluent!" Nic Tse focused on filming in Hong Kong lately in order to spend more time with pregnant wife, Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi. However when Nic was away from work, Cecilia would shop for groceries and formula on her own.
Isabella Leung filmed the movie, 《迷離》 with Lee Sum Kit earlier. Isabella's character was possessed by a ghost and in order to awaken her, Lee Sum Kit slapped her. However Isabella said she enjoyed it quite a bit, was she into masochism?

Solki: I think Raymond has a great voice, but why must he sign with EEG? Personally, I don't like the desperate marketing tactics of EEG management (first it was rumored that Gillian Chung's exposure incident was intentional, then Yumiko Cheng revealed herself twice etc.)
Also, I find Yeung Sau Sing's character to be dubious. He was rumored to have ordered several men to beat up Eric Tsang severely when Eric criticized Joey Yung.

Despite its grand cast of popular artists, the series had only modest ratings and mediocre feedback during its broadcast. Viewers did not complain nor praise the series.
The finale of "The Drive of Life" climbed 4 points and received average ratings of 33 points (approximately 2.14 million viewers) and peaked at 39 points (2.5 million viewers). Fortunately, the finale did not disappoint in the ratings. The finale of "Steps" 《舞動全城》was also aired last Friday. The ratings climbed 3 points and averaged 32 points, peaking at 36 points.
Solki: I think "The Drive of Life" was too serious and the pace was very similar to a mainland series. I admit I had trouble trying to focus on episode 1 while sitting in a noisy family gathering.

Raymond Lam Gets Booed for Winning Best Male Newcomer Award at JSG
Raymond Lam Fung won the Best Male Newcomer gold award at TVB's annual JSG music awards ceremony several nights ago. When Raymond went on stage to receive the award, there were loud boos from some audience members.
At the post award celebration, Raymond said, "I did not hear any boos from the audience. I only heard the singers cheering. Thank you everyone for supporting me. I really did not hear any boos!"

Raymond Lam's Singing & Acting Career Bring in Good Money
Raymond Lam Fung officially entered the music industry in 2007 and received the Best Newcomer Award at JSG's music awards. He also filmed several memorable television series last year. Raymond's accomplishments were quite ideal last year and his public and stage performances brought in good income. Since tourism is increasing in Macau, many Hong Kong artists have received significant sums for their stage appearances at the casinos. Originally some casinos requested Raymond's appearance as well, but he had already committed to concert performances in the United States and Canada.
As economic opportunities were increasing, Raymond's manager admitted that Raymond's public appearance fees have increased by 20% in the latter half of 2007.
Regarding his wishes for the New Year, Raymond hopes to focus dually on his singing and acting career. Aside from filming TVB's "Heart of Greed 2" 《溏心風暴2之家好月圓》, Raymond intends to record a second music album in 2008. As Raymond's work schedule remains busy, the income will surely follow as well.
